Stella Maris Primary School, also called Stella Maris Ampang, is a private school in the city of Ampang, Selangor, that follows the national curriculum. It is one of the Stella Maris Schools that also offers a secondary and international curriculum to students. This group of schools is mainly for Catholics, but it is accepting other students who believe in other religions as well.Â

This school’s primary language of instruction is Malay, with English as a secondary language. They teach subjects like Malay, English, math, science and technology, Islamic education, and music, just like other primary schools in Malaysia.

The only differences here at Stella Maris Ampang are that they offer additional subjects that are rarely seen in other schools, such as Mandarin classes, teaching science and mathematics in English, and Bible knowledge classes for Catholic students.

The facilities offered here at Stella Maris Primary School are the music room, computer lab, art and living skills room, chapel, library, and science lab. Also, the students will participate in public speaking for both English and Malay twice a year to develop their communication skills.Â

Their best achievement to date is that they have been the District Champions for table tennis for six consecutive years since 2014! Then, they held the title of District Champion and First Runner Up for Taekwondo POOMSAE (martial art patterns) in Gombak District.Â
