Finally, students will prepare for their International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exam when reaching upper secondary school for Key Stage 4 (Year 10 and 11). They have the freedom to choose a combination of subjects that match their strengths and interests for the IGCSE. The subjects include biology, chemistry, economics, history, accounting, and Mandarin as a Foreign Language. They are also encouraged to learn how to think critically and be aware of the world around them so that they can become highly responsible global citizens.Â

Other than academic classes, SBIS’ students will have to join an art and design programme, physical education, and performing arts. Students can express themselves creatively through these activities, learn to be disciplined through physical activities and fitness, and improve their communication skills by working together as a team. Hence, the students would build high self-esteem and self-confidence.Â
