Sapphire Academy is a centre for children with special needs. It helps kids ages 3 to 14 and gives them the tools and resources they need to be able to deal with the problems they face every day, whether they are academic, physical, social, or emotional. Some disabilities that this academy could help with are autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.
The academy tailored a wide range of programmes, namely theIndividual Educational Plan (IEP), which comprises a specially designed curriculum based on every child’s needs. This is because they do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach. So, with this approach, instructors are able to conduct personalised teaching, discover children’s interests and potential, and create an environment that suits the children and helps them develop their full potential.
TheEarly Intervention Programme (EIP)at Sapphire Academy assists children in developing their skills, overcoming developmental delays (especially for toddlers), and rehabilitating disabilities. Some activities in this programme are speech therapy, occupational therapy, art therapy, play therapy, and social work sessions. Through music and movement, theirSense Modality Programmecan help children improve their speech, communication skills, and other life skills. TheTransition Programme is also available for children who require functional academic lessons to assist them with personal care and hygiene, as well as social skills.
