The Integrative Academy 1

The Integrative Academy (T.I.A), located in Malaysia, stands as a beacon of support for children with learning disabilities. Functioning as a special needs centre, T.I.A offers tailored programmes designed to nurture and empower these children in their educational journey.

At the heart of T.I.A’s mission is the creation of an environment that fosters holistic development. Recognising the diverse needs of each child, the academy’s passionate and seasoned educators are dedicated to integrating theoretical learning seamlessly into the children’s daily routines. Unlike traditional classrooms that often expect uniformity, T.I.A acknowledges and addresses the unmet needs that can cause children to fall behind, creating a bridge to holistic growth through a range of comprehensive therapies.

The Early Intervention Program (EIP) at T.I.A caters specifically to children between 3 to 7 years old. Running from Monday to Friday, the programme offers two sessions—a morning session from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and an afternoon session from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Tailored to each child, this programme encompasses an individualised academic approach, sensory integration, speech and social play, art and craft, music and movement, sensory play and brain gym exercises. By customising the learning experience to suit each child’s unique needs, T.I.A ensures a well-rounded approach to their development.

For older children aged 7 to 15, T.I.A’s Primary Homeschool Programme provides a comprehensive framework. Operating from Monday to Friday, the programme runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and is classroom-based. The curriculum encompasses a wide array of activities including daily living skills, physical activities, language and communication development, art and craft sessions, music and movement activities, sensory play, brain gym exercises and even cooking sessions. By combining academics with practical life skills, this programme equips children with a holistic skill set necessary for their ongoing development and future success.
