Little Playhouse is a daycare and preschool located in Kuala Lumpur. They are using a play-based curriculum for all ages that promotes a balanced, holistic, and excellent way of learning. Their role is to help children develop a curious and knowledge-seeking mindset, lowering the likelihood of them dropping out of school at a higher educational level.
This school is accepting children aged three months to six years old. Their centers are open on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. To help with that, Little Playhouse prepares full-day and half-day newborn daycare, after-school transportation programmes, and toddler playschool and preschool.
What is interesting about Little Playhouse is that they offer a unique blend of learning and fun-based programmes situated within the Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR). Their framework helps foster the children’s development by emphasizing ethics, intellect, and physique. They offer six programs for infants to preschoolers by implementing this curriculum.
Infant Group is for children aged three months to two years, where it focuses on boosting the babies’ visual, language, motor, and sensory skills by letting them touch and feel objects when playing. This stage of learning is crucial, as the activities they will be doing will impact their growth, development, learning outcomes, and interaction with their environment.
A playgroup namedSafari 2 is for toddlers aged two and older, where they will be involved primarily in fun and easy-going activities, such as messy play, music, and creative art. The children’s gross motor skills will be developed more as they participate in activities that let them climb, jump, scribble, squat, and hop.
Moving on toSunshine 3, kids aged three years old are starting to learn writing, the alphabet and numbers, shapes and sizes, and basic concepts of mathematics to get them prepared for preschool.
